Happy 9 months (+ 2 days) photo shoot

I set up my little “studio” in the living room today as the sunshine poured in for Addison’s official 9 month photo shoot. The princess has been having a pretty good week, even with that long day in the hospital on her actual 9 month birthday. I am happy to report her face rash/eczema is almost gone (we went back to the cortisone on the recommendation of a new medical expert on her team, a dermatologist). Her face and arm don’t seem puffy anymore. Now as for those Tacrolimus levels…that’s another story. We will get the full analysis next week at clinic, but preliminary numbers show Addison’s levels don’t seems to peak until at least 7 hours after taking her dose, with a range of 5.5 to 10.1. One thing is for sure, she likes to keep everyone very busy!!

  1. LOVE the super smiley princess!!!! She looks SOOOO HAPPY! I would love to have a video of what Mommy/Daddy does “behind-the-scenes” to get her to laugh! HAHA! That would probably be just as funny/cute! It’s really cute how a few months ago, she would just lay there with Muk Muk…..and now she’s so actively engaged with him/her. 🙂 So happy to hear that her face rash is better. Interesting about the tacrolimus results…I wonder what does it mean? Always an adventure with Princess Addie! 🙂

  2. She’s beautiful! Enjoy celebrating every milestone. I hope her health continues to improve. You all have been through so much. Mary, Whistler

  3. dear mcyongs..(love that!)
it is hard to believe that this is the same little girl that had all those monitors, pumps and tubes attached to her nine months ago.
everybody keep up the excellent work!
