A day in the life of a princess stuck in the hospital

I can’t escape!!

It’s surprising just how many sources of amusement you can find in a small 12×12 foot room when you are a toddler stuck there in isolation with your sick and tired parents. The doctors may be worried about Addison’s persistent need for oxygen but she doesn’t seem to know or care she has an entire team of cardiologists, respirologists, infectious disease docs, nurses watching her every move with eagle eyes. After Thursday’s troubling afternoon and restless evening, she’s back. Though still on that damn oxygen. I think I’ll let the pictures tell the story. Hoping for another good day today!

  1. OMG – love love love these photos… Litlte Addie is such a hoot! Looks like you guys are all doing an amazing job keeping her occupied (including those Cheerios, stickers and the hospital bed!) So glad to see her so perky, happy and full of amusement despite being at the hospital!!!!! xoxox

  2. ah isolation (3G?) – brings back the memories. hopefully the little princess will be sprung from the tower soon! Looks like she’s having a blast in there tho 🙂

  3. Hang in there…she’s too cute for words…with those impish grins and those beautiful smiling eyes… a knight in shining armor will soon rescue Princess Addie from the tower…although he may be wearing surgical scrubs 😉 hugs to the McYong Clan ❤
