Is it really possible we are this close to December 25th? Addison is loving everything to do with Christmas – numerous visits with Santa, the cookies, decorating the tree, and especially the lights. When we are driving at night, there is a new game she has invented. Every time we see a house decorated with lights we have to say,
“Christmas lights, check!” She does one side of the street and we are supposed to do the other. Except when her side has no lights and our side does. Then the rules change and the Princess gets the other side of the street. It’s quite entertaining.
We have also been fortunate enough to take part in two very special holiday traditions: BC Transplant’s Operation Popcorn to say thank you to hospital caregivers and show them organ donation works; and Children’s Wish Foundation’s Flight in Search of Santa (watch my story HERE and see if you can spot Addison’s cameo appearances).
But my personal highlight was last week’s preschool Christmas concert. Can’t believe our little baby has grown up so fast…couldn’t have imagined this three and a half years ago.
